My name is José, and I’m a certified Naturalist Guide with experience since 2010 of leading both marine and land-based tours. My mission is to provide you with a unique and unforgettable experience that also promote sustainability and positively impact the local community and environment.


As a native of the Galapagos, I possess a profound respect for nature, and I’m passionate about sharing the wonders of this World Heritage site. With a background in Communication and Public Relations, I found my true calling as a Certified Naturalist Guide for the Galapagos National Park.


Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of leading numerous multi-day tours, both on land and at sea, allowing me to witness the beauty and fragility of the islands firsthand. However, I’ve noticed that not all tour agencies share the same commitment to conservation and the community. This observation inspired me to establish my own Tour Operator, with the aim of offering travelers an authentic and sustainable experience.


By choosing this Tour Operator, you’ll have the advantage of exploring the Galapagos Islands through the eyes of a local guide who not only is deeply connected to the community but is also dedicated to responsible tourism. The Pacha Way

In the Andean world, the Quechua term PACHA, means space-time and nature. PACHAMAMA means Mother Earth or the literal translation, «World Mother.»
